Arla's Story
Every word still feels like a miracle...

This is Arla. π
Arla is 8 years old, autistic, and attends Park Lane Special School, a place that’s become so much more than a school to us. It’s a safe place, our lifeline π our community. π€ When Arla started in 2020 π she was non-verbal. For three years, we waited to hear her speak in full sentences.
And then, in 2023 β¨ she found her voice. Now, she doesn’t stop talking π£οΈ and every word still feels like a miracle π She loves singing πΆ dancing π and seeing the world in the most magical way. β¨ But alongside that magic, she struggles with anxiety and emotional regulation.
The world π can feel very overwhelming to Arla, and that’s why Park Lane means everything to us. π They don’t just teach Arla. They truly know her. π€
They understand her needs π€ celebrate every milestone π and support her in ways we never imagine possible. π They helped our daughter find her voice. That’s why fundraising for new sensory equipment with #Shadoes2Giants is so important for children like Arla. π
Sensory support isn’t a luxury, it’s a lifeline. π It creates calm π safety π€ and the chance to thrive. π±
Every donation π· every share π every bit of support π helps children like Arla grow π± shine β¨ and be unapologetically themselves. Park Lane helps her navigate the world and for that, we will be forever grateful. π€ Thank you so much for all your support. π
